Module 1: Obturator Internus & Adductors
34m
Adductors are your inner thighs yogi and they are connected to the second layer of your pelvic floor. As someone who has been dealing with pelvic pain for over 20+ years, I can tell you first hand that the inner thighs play a big role when it comes to hypertension in the pelvic floor. While stretching them is great, stabilizing them is necessary, I've also noticed that using these myofascial techniques make a huge impact in many areas including external symptoms, hypertension and even hip/knee health.
The Obturator Internus is a hip abductor and hip stabalizer. It has a BIG job and it gets tight especially when we have muscular imbalances. Anytime I've gone to my pelvic pt, we have always had to work on that muscle. She's the bane of my exisitence. Incorporating this technique really does help keep the OI more mobile.
For practice you'll need a chair, two tennis balls and a block.
