Yoga for Better Sleep

Trouble falling asleep? You and about 7 out of 10 women you know!
Over 65% of women have trouble falling asleep. Around 20% take prescription sleep meds. There's no guilt in that. We have to do what we have to do to sleep. The body can actually go much longer without food or water than it can without sleep. Our brain function goes down and let's face it, some of us get seriously cranky - myself included. *sigh*
I swear, the less young I get, the more I have trouble with this because there are just so many things my brain wants to think about at night!
There are ways to stimulate the part of our nervous system that will help us get to sleep, the parasympathetic nervous system. It doesn't have to be time consuming or elaborate. It can really just come down to being intentional and understanding how the body reacts to certain stimuli.
You'll need:
2 blocks
mat
bolster or a couple thick, sturdy pillows (can also use blocks with blankets stacked on top)
