Welcome to the first class in our new series, "Hello! "_____" where each class will have a specific area of our pelvic health it focuses on.
This week, we focus on the inner thighs. As the "highway to the pelvic floor," the inner thigh muscles can either offer a lot of support for a healthy pelvic floor environment or can cause a host of really undesirable symptoms like urinary incontinence, UTI-like symptoms, painful intercourse and more. These largely develops because it's adding to the hypertension being held in the pelvic floor muscles.
This inner thigh class focuses on releasing tension through longer held passive poses that encourage release and mobility. This is NOT a stability class.
