Quiet and Reflective Hatha Practice
February Schedule: Week One
•
34m
Today we explore stillness in different poses that promote quiet reflection and groundedness. This practice was born of a desire to help students calm their nervous system during times of struggle. Anxiety, depression, grief, chronic pain and even just pushing through a schedule that never seems to let up can leave us depleted and in a never ending cycle. So today, we counter-act that with our practice!
You'll need: 2 blocks, a bolster or something similar and if you like to use a wedge. If you don't have a wedge, have a skinny pillow or a small towel to place under your tailbone in one of our seated holds.
