Today's class is all about creating mobility and bringing blood flow to the low back and sacrum. Many of us experience low back discomfort either chronically or acutely expecially when there are some other underlying pelvic things going on.
With this particular class, I really had in mind acute situations where maybe you over-did it, did some extra walking or sitting one day, are under extra stress or maybe even injured it. So the poses and moves we did today are geared towards supporting those situations. Mobility, lengthening, light engagement and also calming the nervous system down to a restful state.
You'll Need: bolster (or a couple folded up blankets/towels), blocks, blanket, chair, tennis ball or something similiar.
