Yoga for Bladder Health

In today's class, we do poses that support the obturator internus, which is an important part of your pelvic floor. It is one of the six major hip flexors and plays a big role in stabilization of the femur within the hip socket. When it is tight, it can impinge the pudendal nerve which can create genital, hip, low back and even inner thigh pain. Pain ranges from a variety of symptoms, like pins and needles, stabbing, burning and itching. It can also lead to bladder symptoms like urinary incontinence and leaking! Needless to say this little guy has a very important role in our Pelvic health!
You will need two blocks and if you have it a Pilates ball.
