The Foot Connection

There are 12 Myofascial Trains in the body. One of them is the SFL, the superficial front line. There's also the SBL, superficial back line. Both connect the feet all the way to the jaw and base of the skull. They go up the legs, cross the pelvis and up the chain.
I say all the time that everything is connected! Which is why our class today focuses on the feet. Because it's 'connected' to everything above it. When the feet have restriction, loss of muscle, fallen arches, or is are out of balance structurally then it affects everything above it, including the pelvic floor. Many students with pelvic pain or pelvic dysfunction have something going on in their feet, either one or both.
So let's address them on the mat!
