In yoga we call energy = prana. Like the moon - our bodies are cyclical and they ebb and flow throughout the month. Our yoga practice can then support where we are in that cycle. This practice is perfect for right before or during your menstrual cycle as it supports the Apana - downward energy - of the body to assist with the downward flow that needs to happen during that time.
"Apana energy" also helps with elimination (digestion), anxiety, stress and racing thoughts. Which let's be real can happen any day of the month! Keep this in your favorites for when those days happen!
You'll need: 1 block and a blanket

I know that's a wordy title, but there was no better way to explain it! In this class, we are doing movement that supports the lower leg from the knee down. So we will touch on feet, ankles, and calves. You will need a tennis ball and a block.

Creating Pelvic Space
Another little mini that helps release tight pelvic floor muscles! This sequence is also going to help create some space for the psoas and other hip flexors in addition to some diaphragm opening.
You will not need a strap but have a couple blocks.
